The house I purchased in 2014 had not seen renovation since the Reagan administration. I needed to maintain the integrity of an 80-year-old Tudor while infusing it with unexpected-and-comforting design. Luckily, a mix of Brooklyn, the Caribbean and the Deep South — the places I previously lived — accomplished that.

In February 2015, work began on a full overhaul of the house inside and out. Updates to the pool (2016) and backyard (2017) completed the picture.
