Post-Brooklyn, I graciously accepted the moniker "Uncle Ben."

We celebrated births and birthdays. Our holidays mimicked the pull-out-all-the-stops creativity Mother insisted on when I was growing up. We brought the outside in ... and more than often brought the inside out.

It's a place that all y'all have called home.
